We are strengthening our documentation, advocacy, and campaigning efforts to protect student activists and human rights defenders.
SAIH is a solidarity and development organization that has worked for over 60 years with partners around the world to promote education and academic freedom as a human right.
Through varied networks globally, program partners in seven countries, as well as local chapters and over 50 member organizations throughout Norway, we fight for everyone to have access to inclusive, quality higher education in a world with fair distribution and democracy without human rights violations.
Come join our fight to protect students and scholars! At a time of growing authoritarianism and declining democracies globally, we are strengthening our documentation, advocacy, and campaigning efforts to protect student activists and human rights defenders.
We’re establishing a new social media role to help shape and accelerate this work. The social media advisor will join a cross functional project team, report to the Head of Communications and Advocacy and be part of the Communications and Advocacy Department.
Solidarity, inclusion, and participation are values that form the foundation of our work culture. As an advisor in the SAIH-team, you’re expected to work independently and develop the project and your role.

You are interested in international politics and human rights. The successful candidate has a mature and flexible attitude, displaying strong project and time management skills. Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate creative and analytical thinking.
