CRIC is an association of indigenous governments and represents 90% of indigenous communities in southwestern Colombia. With 120 communities from ten diverse ethnic backgrounds, CRIC has been a pioneer in the fight for the right to their territories, cultural rights, and their own education. CRIC is the founder of the Autonomous Intercultural Indigenous University (UAIIN), the first indigenous university recognized by the state in Colombia.
Through CRIC, SAIH suppports the development of UAIIN and the CRIC youth movement, Jóvenes CRIC.
