GDX is the leading organization for and by transgender and gender-diverse individuals in South Africa.
SAIH collaborates with GDX to make higher education a more inclusive, safe, and affirming space for students, regardless of gender and sexuality. Through training of students, teachers, and social workers, as well as the development of inclusive curricula, GDX works to reduce discrimination, violence, and marginalization of LGBTQIA+ individuals in South Africa.
